The Family History section is accessed by either the grey tab in the Lifestyle Review section or via the pull down menu under Lifestyle on the top menu bar.

The medical history of immediate relatives can have an influence on the likelihood of similar medical conditions in offspring and siblings. More regular check ups and closer attention to individual health are recommended if an immediate relative has died prematurely from a hereditary disease, especially some cancers and cardio-vascular conditions. 

A Subject's family history is entered via an on screen table which requests information on the Subject's mother, father and immediate relatives such as siblings' the nature of the medical condition and the age of the individual when the condition was first diagnosed or experienced. Refer figure 1.

Once all of the information has been completed, simply press the Update Family History button on the bottom left hand side of the screen and the information will be recorded.  The family health history of a Subject can be updated at any time and should be if the health of his/her immediate family changes over time. Refer figure 2.

Once saved the family history is recorded in a simple table format with red flags indicating any areas of concern based on the Subject's families health and serves as a reminder for the Subject to have regular check ups for the particular possible condition that they may be at higher risk of experiencing because of its prevalance in their relatives.
