General Process
The Exercise Program module allows the operator to create exercise programs for subjects. This involves the following activities:
- Creating the Program basic information (Task A & B). For example, the title of the Program, 'gold', 'CV', 'Aerobic Program' and so on. Additionally, the date of creation, objectives, warm up, cool down comments etc.
- Adding exercises to the program. (Task D)
- Saving the program. (Task G)
Given each exerise has many different properties such as duration, repetition, weight and tempo, constructing a program can be a time consuming activity. If you create custom programs for many subjects, this will simply magnify the problem in terms of the time it takes.
To simplify the task and speed up the whole process, Fitech offers the facility of 'templating'. To get you started, there are several system templates that you can use to create your exercise programs from. (Task E)
Better still, any programs that you create yourself can also be 'converted' to a template. You can then use these as templates (Task F) for future programs. Customistation or creation of slightly different programs for different subjects then becomes much quicker and simpler. The figure below shows the process of creating an exercise program.

Some Notes
- Use of templates is not compulsory but will save a huge amount of time.
- The exericise Library can be added to with your own exercises.
- System Templates appear with a red stop icon next to them. They cannot be modified or removed in any way.
