Creating a exercise program
To create a new exercise program follows these simple steps
Step One
Using a loaded Subject, click on the green Exercise button and in the drop downbox, select Create/Manage Programs to create a new program.

Step Two
This will open up the program head screen. Simply complete the following fields:
- Program Description - name your program
- Duration - the length of your program (in minutes only)
- Created on- this will default to today’s date
- Objectives
- Warm up
- Cool Down
- Comments
When you have finished click the ‘insert program’ button.

Step Three
This will take you to the ‘Available and Chosen Exercises Screen’. You can then search by category, mode, equipment or word by selecting the relevant box and pressing the find button. You then need to tick the ‘add box’ which will select them for your program and will be shown on the left hand side on the page.
Now enter in the exercise detail by using the Sets, Reps, Weights, Duration, Tempo, Intensity, Rest, Notes. These fields are optional and will not be shown on the program if they are not filled in.
Additional information on the selected exercise instructions can be opened in a pop up window by clicking on the icon. Exercises can be taken off the program by using the delete option.
Click on the ’submit button’ to add these to the final program.

Step Four
This will take you back to the main screen exercise home page, where you will see your programs. You then have the following options:
- Edit the programs header. The Program Header stores basic information like the title of the programs, creation date and so on.
- Delete the entire Program
- Add, Modify or Delete exercises within the Programs
- Add a Session (Attendance to the Training Programs) - As of version 5.1, this is still be developed for the future.
- Print the Exercise Programs in detail to Adobe PDF (as a report).
- Print the programs as a matrix. This matrix is a checklist for the subject as they progress through their routine. It allows for several workouts.
- This allows the operator to save this Exercise Program as a Template. This is especially useful if the operator needs to create many different programs that are broadly similar.
- This link displays the templates that are available to the operator. The templates fall into 2 categories:
- System Templates. These are denoted by a red stop icon and cannot be modified. Programs can then be created from them.
- User defined templates. These templates are created from either System Templates or from existing programs.

Alternatively you can use the matrix/ summary grid option. This is a small summary of the program in a grid style format with a area to sign off each training session.
Step Six- Print Options
You can print sections of your report by using the standard PDF windows print options and selecting the relevant pages. Alternatively, you could email them to your Client.
